The Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care is a training site for students from different fields: Student nurses from Youngstown State University, Medical students from NEOUCOM and from Dr. Wilkins’ Clinic. Students take vital signs and conduct mini mental-state exams. One of the students’ feedback read, “My experience at the Antonine Sisters Day Care was an excellent one. I learned a lot about the psychological state of the elderly and learned about the resources that are needed for appropriate care of the elderly.”

Training sessions are also provided for the Day Care staff members.
