The Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care is a private not-for-profit organization that relies partly on generous donations of kind supporters. The sisters work diligently to keep the center functioning at a high quality level. The fees collected from enrolled participants are not sufficient to cover the various expenses. Thus, in 2002, friends of the sisters started a major fundraiser called the Guild of St Anthony.

 

St Anthony of the Desert (4^th C. E.) gave away all that he had and followed the calling of Christ. He is the patron of the Antonine Sisters who, like St Anthony, follow the calling of God each day of their lives.  The Guild of St Anthony of the Desert is a financial support group that helps raise annual funds for the Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care ministry.

 

The annual membership is $55 per person ($40 is tax deductible), and members are included in the sisters’ prayer list. Members are also invited for an annual Recognition Dinner with exquisitely delicious food prepared by the sisters especially for the occasion.
